Inspiration from the Carpenter – Cure Mondayitis

Another Monday, another week! Why do Monday’s seem to come around faster than the Weekend?

I’m waiting for Dad to come and pick me up for work. He ALWAYS says “isn’t it great that today is a Monday?”

My response is always… ‘Yeah, I love Mondays’ hmph!

Monday’s shouldn’t have the stigma of being a ‘blah’ day. Think positively about the fact that you have been given another new day to live. How can we do that?

Make someone’s Monday by sending appreciation or encouragement to a loved one or a colleague.

Be thankful that you have a job to go to.

Be content that if you don’t have a job, today is another day to look for a job. Each day and each application sent is one closer to when you will get your first job offer.

Do something different today like try a different type of coffee instead of your same old standard, or wear a different fragrance, or try a new spot for lunch.

Monday’s shouldn’t be dreaded! They are another day to enjoy all that God has given us – even if our work is a chore!

Psalm 118 : 24 This is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it!
