I don’t want to take too much of your time because I hope you are spending this Christmas with the ones that you love, but I couldn’t not wish you a Merry Christmas.
I appreciate you visiting my blog and reading my words. Without you, I wouldn’t have a blog. Your comments and likes on Facebook mean a lot to me and I hope that I’m helpful in the area of plumbing, but relatable in the area of parenting and living life in general.
I love Christmas and what it means with baby Jesus being born. I’ve been encouraged by a number of messages over the last month at church about how to handle fear and that the impossible can be made possible with God based on Jesus birth.
I’ve had my own revelation from the Christmas story and that is this. The road is not easy to fulfil what is promised.
When Mary was told that she was going to have a baby, I wonder what she visualized as part of her birth plan. I don’t think she expected to lay baby Jesus in a manger. But she did and she survived and what was said to her by angel Gabriel came to be.
You may have a dream in your heart or you may have been given a prophecy or revelation that you will do something in particular, but the road has been difficult to see that dream become a reality.
Don’t be discouraged or dissuaded. Persevere and never lose hope of that vision even if your current circumstances look bleak.
I have faith that God can work in your life to make what is impossible possible. And sometimes the answers or road forward may be provided by something or someone unexpected. Mary and Joseph needed somewhere to stay for the birth and they were offered shelter in a barn.
Look for the barn and don’t be discouraged by its status. In my experience with God, He likes to use the unexpected to grow your faith and reveal His Glory.
Have a most blessed Christmas. I will still be blogging here and there over the holiday period.
From all of us at The Plumbette HQ, Merry Christmas and God Bless and may your 2015 be a bright one. Xx
Luke 1:30 But the angel said to her, ‘Do not be afraid, Mary, you have found favor with God. You will be with child and give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High.’
